RR on Juno

In the evaluation of “Juno”, I think that it is good. I like how unbiased it is and how she really doesn’t just rant or rave it. She has many good points and very good details from the movie that help to back her up. She talks about how negative it is but also how positive it is. I like how she clearly defines the movies flaws and also how she doesn’t just rant on and on about one thing but how she briefly talks about it and moves on to another subject of discussion. The thing I dislike is that I think that she isn’t a good role model. I think that she is sending mixed feelings in whether or not it is ok to be pregnant. I know they cannot portray the full 9 months before birth and then a few months after, but I think it could show the audience a little more of the negatives to having a kid at such a young age. The movie “Juno” is good in portraying some parts of the pregnant life as a teenager and also it helps to deter young, adolescent adults from having sex and getting pregnant at such a young age, but also I think it can send the wrong message to teenagers about how they could just give their child away and not have a mental or physical attraction to their kid. I liked the structure of this evaluation but I didn’t like the movie. It wasn’t my style and I wouldn’t be able to evaluate it because I would rant about it more than balance it out.
