2nd In Class Response

Today I brought a picture of my Grandma, my sister, and . I brought it because when I was younger my grandma was a big inspiration to my reading. When I would go to her house throughout the week just to visit she would always read a little fairytale to me or make up some story of her own. My grandma was an artist so she was very creative about coming up with ideas to make a story about. In my picture I am a toddler and my sister is about 7 years old. I am sitting on my grandma’s lap playing with a toy. My grandma is kind of short with black poufy hair. She always wore droopy earrings and she is dressed in a white shirt with a black coat over it. I can hear her soft, sweet voice today talking to me, playing with me and my sister. I can her hear making the noises of a horse, “naayy.” The toy is a plastic horse with a teddy bear on it. The teddy bear has soft fur and is brown. The horse is white and hard as a rock. I smell a candle burning, a cinnamon one because that was my grandmas favorite kind before she passed away. I can taste the baby slobber in my moth getting ready to run down my chin. My little sister is wearing a wrapping bow on her head because today is my birthday and she helped me open my presents and thought it would be funny to wear it around for a while. My grandma would always wear beautiful jewelry. Her favorite were necklaces. There is a wooden bench in the background used for her little dolls or miscellaneous things she would put on it.
