The Stranger With No Name

The hall was quiet until she heard the loud screech of what seemed to be nails on a chalkboard. She wondered what could have made that noise. Interested in what it was she trekked down the hallway but took her time because not only did the noise intrigue her but it also sent a trickle of fear down her spine. As she got farther down the hall she heard the noise again, but this time louder, she knew she was coming closer to it. There at the end of the hall way she could see a door. The door was wooden and seemed to be older with cracks running all down it. There was a window in the center of it that only let light through but you couldn’t see through it because it was all jumbled and dirty. There was a light on in this room. She wondered if she should enter. She got up to the door and decided to grab the handle. The handle is a sort of faded gold color. When she grabbed it she could feel the cold spread throughout her hands. She turned the knob and slowly began to open the door. As she opened it there was a loud creaking noise that echoed throughout the hallway. Finally after opening the door she peered into the room and seen a person up by the chalkboard writing on the board. She couldn’t clearly make out what it said but she didn’t recognize the person. After being in the school for eight years she thought she would have known everyone but not this person. It was a stranger dressed in all black. As he turned around she saw his face, dark and gloomy as if he was sad and hurt. Then the stranger took off and jumped out of the window. She ran to the window to find him but she saw nothing but trees and grass. She then walked up to the chalkboard to see what was wrote and in a slanted way it said “I’m sorry..”
