my fears to overcome

I was so excited my first day of college. I didn't know what to expect. The night before I thought about what to wear, what to bring, and what to do. I was worried I wouldn't make it to class on time or I would show up to the wrong class. I didn't know what people would think about me, or if they would like me, or even if i would know anyone who was there. It was all very nerve wreaking and I was so nervous.

When my first day came I showed up to my classes early. I made sure I had everything I could possibly need. I only had three classes that day and I enjoyed all three. I was very interested in all three. The day came and went faster then I thought it would. I didn't expect it to be done so fast or for the classes to be as interesting as they were.

High school had its ups and downs and um sure college will, but I'm really looking forward to whats to come and I would say it was a great start to my first day. All the teachers seemed friendly and I am looking forward to the days to come. My college experience was wonderful so far.

  1. I experienced many of the same feelings Austin did on his first day. I planned out what to wear and was very nervous. My first class didn't start until 8 and I showed up before 7 to make sure I was there on time and to make sure I had everything I could possibly need. My back hurt that day because of the over packing of my bookbag. Like Austin I wondered if I would see anybody I knew and I ended up seeing quite a few.
The classes did seem to go very fast for as long as they are and every one of my professors seem very pleasant. I too have enjoyed the time I have spent experiencing college.
On my first day I was very tired during my classes and had to fight to stay awake due to the lack of sleep I had gotten the night before. I found it hard to sleep because of the nervousness

  2. I had the same feelings on the first day of school this year! My classes went so fast on the first day as well. So much faster than my high school classes. I'm not a big fan of school so I really like that!

  3. I was just as nervous as you all on my first day. I never once gave thought about running into people I know. I guess that's because I knew they were around if I needed them. Like Halle, I've never done well in school even though I tried it just never came easy. I was surprised with how easy this semester is going so far.

  4. First of all, you are a worry wart! The first day of classes, Taylor and I wore sweats, partially because of the fact that we are super lazy! We really hate getting up early to try to look socially acceptable. I guess it also helps that you are a guy. Girls have to get up and try to tame their hair! Okay, back on topic, you should not have been over anxious because obviously everyone is in the same exact boat as you were their first day. I bet you are thinking you wasted all that time prepping for your first day when it was not a big deal at all!
Is it bad to say that I can’t even remember my first day of classes? It obviously did not affect me too much! Though, I remember my first week I was a little nervous because I did not have all of the books required for my classes but I figured I could think up some good excuse as to why I did not have them if it was a problem. I actually still do not have my American Sign Language text book yet…irrelevant information, but whatever.
I, like you, am also looking forward to what is to come in college. So far, I absolutely love everthing! I love being on my own, the environment, everything! Good luck this year because more than likely we probably wont have a class next semester. By the way…Sheeter is a Cheater . You should probably let your professors know! Haha ☺
