Last Tuesday
was the weirdest day of my life. I had the rarest encounter that of all my
eighteen years. I got yelled at during class. It was for no reason at all and I
found it very rude and inappropriate. I find that there is a time and place for
arguments about that and that was not the time. If you have a problem with me I
prefer that it be brought to my attention in a very mature, adult-like nature. I
find that no matter how I try I cannot make everyone happy and I accept it, but
I do not appreciate being yelled at. I have enough drama in my life and I do
not need any more. I understand that I am not perfect and that I may not be
good enough to fit into your standards but there is no reason to raise tyranny with
me without first giving an example of what I do wrong. I apologize if I anger
anybody with what I say or do, and I appreciate it being brought to my
attention but not by yelling at me, by just fluently and calmly telling me and
talking to me about the problem. No one knows really what I have been through
and I do have better things to do then waste my time, I don’t just come to
school to waste my time, I come to learn and to better my education. Well this
is really all I had to write and I just wanted to get my feelings out so I wouldn’t
be stuck on this subject for a while. #Deuces
I totally agree with you Austin. Their is a time and a place to take care of situations like this and first of all it should not be infront of other students. Who ever this teacher was, it was very unprofessional and unethical. Im sure that teacher wouldn't of liked it for a student to yell at them in front of people. They probally would even take it to the parent or the Dean or someone. But the student, what are they going to do? No one would probally even listen to the student because they would think that it was the students fault that the teacher did it because they are the ones that are in the Professional Field of teaching, our place is the bottom of totam pole. I feel the same way as you. I try to make people happy and all I get is shit on. The teacher needed to evaluate the situation and hear your side of the story, outside of classroom time though. If they want to be a professional than they need to act like one and do it in a respectful manner. Embarrassing a student is never acceptable in my opinion. Yes, we all have our bad days and dont want to be bothered. And I know no one is perfect but you are absolutly right. Any problem that needs to be discussted with somone should NOT be done inside of a classroom with students around. What kind of inadequate classroom management is this? But on the other hand, and dont get mad, but you did say that you had a lot of drama all ready in your life meaning you have alot going on right now that you have to deal with. For some unknown reason someone may of said something to you to cause uneasyness on your behalf and that may of been why the teacher yelled at you. Sorry dude, just speaking my opinion also. Sometimes when we have things happening in our lifes we lavish out for no reason and maby this is why the teacher yelled at you.
